The site is a mere 8km off the Lydenburg road that traverses the plains as the escarpment drops to the Lowveld.
Off this road lies the big Kwena Dam and a sole koppie (hill), and it is directly opposite this that one climbs up, up and up,
almost into a wall of cliffs which often disappears into the mist.
